Following the new measures against covid-19 announced by the Greek government, the National Historical Museum is suspending its operation from November 3 until November 30 2020.

Shadow Theatre in Greece
In collaboration with the Centre of Byzantine, Modern Greek and Cypriot Studies in Granada and the University of Granada. Visitors will have the opportunity through a large number of exhibits, almost 1000, coming from private collections and institutions, to form a complete picture of the Greek Shadow Theatre.

Exhibition of Works of Periklis and Constantinos Byzantios
On display in the four rooms in the basement is a collection of paintings by Periklis Byzantios and his son, Constantinos.

Exhibition of Works of Panagiotis Tetsis
On display in the first floor os the Lazaros Koundouriotis Historical Mansion are watercolors and oil paintings of large dimensions with Hydriote subjects , donated by the artist himself.
